She is the president-elect of the Menopause Society of Sri Lanka and is a council member of the South Asian Federation of Menopause Societies (SAFOMS). She takes an active interest in educating postgraduate doctors, healthcare workers and the public on Menopause-related health. She has edited three books on menopause for healthcare workers and a textbook titled Medicine in the Elderly. She has many publications on menopause.
