Dr. Jyothi Unni

Dr. Jyothi Unni did her graduation and post graduation from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India followed by MRCOG from UK.  

She was awarded the FRCOG in 1996.

Dr Unni is currently the Director of the Department of Obstetrics  & Gynaecology, Jehangir Hospital & Medical Centre, Pune, India, She is also a Post graduate Teacher and Examiner.

She founded the  Pune Chapter of Indian Menopause Society in 1998 and has held several appointments at the National level before becoming National President of Indian Menopause Society from 2013 to 2014.

Dr Unni was Representative of the Indian Menopause Society to the International Menopause Society from 2015 to 2016 and Representative to APMF from 2019 to 2020

She has been an Invited speaker in several National and International Conferences and has published in journals and chapters in books.

Dr Unni regularly volunteers in rural health centres in India.
